 The above pictures of of a house in Harbor City that I renovated.  I was hired by the trustee of the estate who wanted to spend as little as possible to get the house in a position where it would sell for as much as possible as quickly as possible.  I completed the task for well under $5000.00 (labor and materials) and I feel quite secure in estimating that the work I did increased the selling price by at least $35,000.00 [based on appraisal information vs. selling price].  In addition to increasing the value of the home, it sold within two weeks of job completion!  In this market, that is something special indeed.

I replaced all electrical outlets and switches with more attractive and modern Decora switches/outlets, painted the entire interior (including doors, cabinetry, etc.), replaced the existing baseboard with a higher profile  baseboard throughout the entire home, installed new lighting and plumbing fixtures in all rooms, installed new satin nickel knobs and pulls on all cabinetry, and much more.
